The Kickass Client

Dani Woolf is a recognized expert in cybersecurity marketing and buyer/customer/audience research for cybersecurity and B2B technology companies. She launched a podcast called Audience 1st where she interviews security buyers, leaders and practitioners.

She then expanded her business into a comprehensive consultancy and agency to help cybersecurity startups go to market confidently with validated offers and messaging.

The Challenge 💪🏻

The Audience 1st website needed to be more than a billboard for the podcast. It needed to drive demand for the agency's research services, strategy packages, online courses, and live workshops. The copy needed to be written in Dani's authentic brand voice and reflect her strong values for Audience 1st.

Collaboration Station 🙌🏻

Dani and I worked collaboratively as I helped align her home page copy with the new direction for Audience 1st, while maintaining her personal brand voice.

I presented drafts in wireframes so she could easily assemble her new home page in Kajabi using her site template.

We also ended up tackling:

  • A campaign landing page for the CISO Value Distillery, a first-of-its-kind workshop hosted by Audience 1st.
  • Additional web copy for the Academy page (see https://www.audience1st.fm/ciso-value-distillery-learning-path)
