It was time for FluidPrompter to have a website that showcased the application’s capabilities in ways that matter to video makers.

Startups Don’t Get Much Cooler Than This 😎

Necessity is the mother of invention. The founder of FluidPrompter was creating videos for his YouTube channel, Ben’s TechLab. He got frustrated with teleprompter apps that didn’t allow for display customization and hands-free control, among many other issues. 

Eventually, he created his own browser-based teleprompter app, FluidPrompter, that would give users full control of their prompter without being complicated to use.

The Challenge 💪🏻

FluidPrompter needed a website refresh in time for a relaunch to a wider market. We defined a Phase 1 for the project, which would include several core pages. 

Customers, Copy and Collaboration 🤜🏻 🤛🏻

For this project we incorporated qualitative customer research in the form of 1:1 customer/user interviews. 

The founders and I worked on a USP and defined the core messaging for FluidPrompter.

I wrote and wireframed the copy and edited with input from and collaboration with the founder.

We also worked closely with the web designer.
